Startup Victoria exists to support founder success. One of the ways we do this is through a series of programs. You can read about them below.

Founder Connect

What: a series of weekly online networking sessions to help you build connections with your peers from the startup community.

Who’s it for: Whether you’re a new founder, an angel investor, an experienced entrepreneur, this event will position you best to build your network.

When: Weekly, alternating breakfast and lunch sessions. Currently taking place via Zoom.

How much: Totally free during COVID-19

The Startup Success Series

What: A weekly educational webinar covering a topic that founders have told us is important to them right now.

Who’s it for: Founders looking for advice or education on a wide variety of disciplines. Previous topics have included ‘Cashflow Forecasting‘, ‘Founder Mental Health‘ and ‘Raising Capital in a Crisis‘.

When: Every other Friday at 1pm

How much: First 100 tickets are free. Donations thereafter.

Growth Club

What: A peer network for scale-up founders in Victoria.

Who’s it for: Founders experiencing fast growth and with over $1m ARR

When: Monthly peer dinners, bi-monthly speaker events and a 24/7 slack channel

Pitch Night

What: An opportunity for 4-5 founders to pitch their idea to a panel of expert judges and the Startup Vic community. Participants receive pitch training and winners receive a package of prizes.

Who’s it for: Early stage founders who’d like to share their idea and perfect their pitch. Anyone from the community is welcome to watch and support pitchers.

When: Monthly (pending transition online)

How much: Totally free

Office Hours

Office hours is a chance for founders to seek out advisors with the help of Startup Vic. Whether you need some specific advice on an area of your startup, or more general direction, advisors have a wealth of experience to share. You can book time with an experienced founder or an industry expert.
