Join us for drinks and nibbles plus a multi-disciplinary panel focusing on the encryption law debate and how Australian businesses and, in particular, tech start-ups are likely to be impacted by such law. Topics to be discussed include the role of encryption in information security, privacy compliance and business as well as the increasing regulatory barriers to be overcome by emerging Australian technology start-ups seeking their place on the world stage. Free to Feed’s advocacy is delivered through employment in food-based initiatives – cooking classes, immersive experiences and events, and ever-evolving, curated offerings. Representing Angel Investment: Alison Hardacre Alison Hardacre is a global health technology entrepreneur. She co-founded HealthKit, a global health platform for practitioners, patients and people everywhere used in over 50 countries around the world, that makes healthcare efficient, effective and accessible; HealthKit has recently launched its European office in Cork, Ireland.  In 2016, Alison was named one of the Top 50 Australian and New Zealand Women in Tech, and in 2015 received the Victorian Pearcey Entrepreneur Award. Before HealthKit, Alison was an accomplished general manager in health and banking, and a director of numerous health organisations. She speaks five Asian languages, and holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School, and Law and Arts degrees from Monash University. Representing Equity Crowdfunding: Alan Crabbe Originally from N Ireland, Alan is the co-founder and CEO of Pozible & Birchal. In 2010, Alan launched Pozible and introduced Crowdfunding to Australia and Asia pacific. The platform was developed to help creatives build audiences, raise capital and get ideas off the ground. The site has hosted fifteen thousands of projects in Australia and distributed over $70 million since its launch. Memobottle has sold 350,000 bottles globally, ships to over 80 countries and in stocked in 1,200 retail stores. memobottle products are endorsed globally by influencers and celebrities such as Ann Hathaway.
