Michael is the Head of Culture at Vinomofo, one of Australia’s fastest-growing companies and a leader in innovation, disruption and values-based company culture.

Vinomofo has a proud ethos of only selling wines they love – ‘if we don’t love it, we don’t sell it’. Since launching, they have grown a 500,000-strong membership base from Australia and around the world. Vinomofo has become a successful, online wine retailing business, which turns over more than A$50 million a year and is on the cusp of going global.

Michael wants to live in a world where companies engage and empower people to express their unique talents, strengths and creativity as they work together to do great things. He believes companies, regardless of size, have a unique opportunity to teach and promote self-awareness and empathy, and in doing so contribute positively to society beyond the workplace.

Previous roles have included; Family Business Owner, International Expedition Leader, Lonely Planet Author, Primary School Teacher, Wine Writer and Educator, Personal Development Coach, and currently Head of People and Culture at Vinomofo. Michael is fascinated by human behaviour, evolutionary psychology and is committed to helping companies identify and bring out the best in their people.

Jayne Lewis

After a stint as the Head Brewer of Mountain Goat Brewery, Jayne and her close friend Danielle Allen decided their future lay in running a brewery together, leading to the founding of Two Birds Brewing – Australia’s first female-owned brewery – in 2011. Since then, the company has grown rapidly, and Two Birds is now distributed Australia wide from their brewery and taproom in Spotswood, The Two Birds Nest.
